8 Awesome Indie Games Revealed At Gamescom 2020

2020 is packed with game announcements that are happening digitally, but this type of game unveil is nothing new to the annual Gamescom event. Many are used to catching this event live rather of in person and I have to say it was awesome to have a sense of regularity in these times of creative gaming announcements. Gamescom 2020 has been packed of indie game reveals and updates that you should surely be excited for!

 

Little Nightmares II

Maintaining the strange world where we play as the small girl wearing a yellow-raincoat named Six and try to avoid the dangerous oddities that try to catch us. Bandai Namco has shown not only the official release date of February 11, 2021, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – with the combined bonus that those who buy on PS4 or XB1 will get a free next-gen upgrade for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X – but they have also told the story in a new reveal trailer.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood

Werewolf: The Apocalypse series looks awesome, NACON and Cyanide offered us with a trailer featuring Cahal. Revealing both his life and the past of our protagonist werewolf of the Fianna tribe. See the tragic fate that made this married father into exile just to keep those he loves safe from his own rage. The release date not revealed, but we know it will eventually release on PS4, PS5, XB1, and XSX sometime in 2021.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain

Check out the new game in the Remothered series following the critically acclaimed Remothered: Tormented Fathers is Stormind Games and Modus Games. The release date already announced for October 20th on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, they unveiled the final thing we wanted to know before we start playing the game; a story trailer. Check out what you have awaiting you in the Ashmann Inn with the latest trailer “Whispers.”

Transient

From Stormling Studios, The studio is famous for its experience horror game Conarium, which comes to a Cyberpunk world packed with H.P. Lovecraft inspired horror. Simply called Transient, this game will get you into an obscure dystopian world to discover the terrifying truth of your life in a ruined city. Be prepared to handle a truth that could have you suspect your sanity this October on PC via Steam, followed by coming out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021.

Monster Truck Championship

Be prepared to drive 16 vehicles and enter into the five different event models as we try to get the Monster Truck Championship title! Coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 15th, NACON and TEYON revealed some of the content from the game has in store for us, it comes with a showcase of a handful of the 25 different stadiums and circuits these events will take place at.

Grime

An unusual 2D action-adventure RPG will make you fight with weapons you never would have imagined in your life. Fight through brutal battles using weapons in a living, mutated form and function, then use their remains with a black hole to robust your own vessel. This brutal fighting game from Clover Bite didn’t get a release date as of yet, but it will eventually be released on Steam and it looks badass.

AWAY: The Survival Series

This will provide gamers the chance to play through the events you would anticipate to see on a nature documentary, Breaking Walls puts us in the fur of a sugar glider. There will be time playing as many other animals, Set to release in Early 2021 on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4, this is a game which I am looking forward to playing for sure.

Quantum Error

Check out the awesome new sci-fi action-horror game from the dark minds at TeamKill Media. After a strong launch of their first game Kings of Lorn, this team gets right back into development to give us a new kind of terror, but this time with a gun and an unfamiliar setting. There may not be a release date or on which platform it will be released, but this official story trailer has got me excited for sure.
