Xbox One S All Digital Edition

The age of buying game digitally is here and we all buy games more and more digitally. More gamers now than ever before purchase their games through digital market places like Steam, PSN or Xbox Live. We have been hearing the news about the digital-only version of the Xbox One S. And sure enough the Xbox One S All Digital Edition was finally announced during an episode of Inside Xbox.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition will come with an Xbox One S console, minus the 4K Blu-ray drive, come with a 1 TB hard drive and a single controller. the bundle is also coming with 3 top selling Xbox One games including Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 3. A special offer for Xbox Game Pass will also be included for anyone who purchases the console. The system will still be able to play all online 4K content from services like Netflix. Pre-orders are now available for the system at the Microsoft Store and Amazon.

To be honest I don’t like the price of the new bundle which is starting at $249.99. Early rumors had hinted the new console would come in at $200 mark to attract new owners to the Xbox console. At $250 you might as well find an older Xbox One S bundle and keep the ability to play disks! Many old stock bundles can often be found for $250 or less with no stress at all so I have no idea why Microsoft thought this price was a good deal. At $200 I might have even think of buying one since I have gone all digital anyway! But I don’t think this console will be a great success.
