Amazon Prime Gaming Free Games for September 2022
Amazon Prime‘s monthly free games have become a cherry on the cake for subscribers of the service with the premium subscription offering high-profile games for Prime members. August’s selection of free games with Prime featured Blizzard’s Starcraft: Remastered as one of its six games, alongside some amazing indie games. Earlier months have also featured AAA games like Dead Space 2, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, among others. Now, Amazon has unveiled its free games for September, and it’s an awesome list.
Amazon officially revealed its free games with Amazon Prime for September with a batch of famous games coming to the free promotion. September’s free games come with several popular AAA games with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins and the Game of the Year Edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor headlining the monthly offerings. Football Manager 2022 will also be joining the Amazon Prime promotion with other smaller games like The Dig and Defend the Rook included among the list of eight games.
Amazon’s featuring of Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be joined by future content planned for the newest entry in the Assassin‘s Creed franchise. The September games announcement also revealed that Prime members would be able to claim in-game content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla starting on September 13th. Prime currently features a “Charlemagne Bundle” for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with Prime members able to acquire free cosmetics. Amazon also confirmed Prime-exclusive content coming for two other games throughout September in Skull & Bones and Rainbow Six Siege.

Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna, will also be offering a further selection of free games through the Prime Gaming Channel. Amazon Luna’s monthly offerings will include a wide variety of games from racing games like Hot Wheels Unleashed and RipTide GP: Renegade to platformers like Earthworm Jim and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Amazon Prime members can access Luna’s Prime Gaming Channel as part of their Prime membership, with other channels on Luna coming packaged as separate monthly subscriptions.
Amazon’s most recent set of monthly games comes as the online marketplace has continued to push itself to the forefront of the gaming industry. Amazon issued the long-awaited arrival of the popular MMORPG Lost Ark in North America, South America, and Europe when it was released in February. Amazon has pushed its Prime subscription for gamers featuring not only free games but also exclusive cosmetics and bonuses for famous ongoing games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft. Amazon Prime’s September library brings a variety of games that should appeal to plenty of players.
