APEX LEGENDS Sun Squad Collection Event Begins Tomorrow!

Respawn Entertainment and EA are gearing up to kick off the summer early with the exciting Sun Squad Collection Event in Apex Legends! Starting from tomorrow, gamers can enjoy a host of thrilling new features, including a limited-time game mode, “Heatwave,” and an array of limited-time cosmetics.

The event will see Legends equipped with sunscreen as they take on the limited-time “Heatwave” mode. This new twist on Battle Royale will have sporadic heatwaves that damage players who are outdoors. To survive, gamers will need to head inside or stay under heat shields until the heatwave subsides. For those who dare to venture out, they can try sliding or wearing sunglasses to reduce the sun’s harmful rays.

In addition to the new game mode, players will have access to a range of Hawaiian shirts, scuba gear, and other exclusive items. These can be earned by completing the event’s rewards track, with a total of 24 limited-time cosmetics available for Ash, Mirage, Fuse, and more. And, for the most dedicated players, there’s an exciting incentive to unlock all 24 cosmetics before April 11th, as they’ll be able to automatically unlock Ash’s coveted “Strongest Link” Heirloom.

The Sun Squad Collection Event is set to run from March 28th to April 11th, and gamers can access the Revelry on a range of platforms, including PC via Origin and Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
