ASSASSIN’S CREED ODYSSEY Confirmed By Ubisoft
Ubisoft newly confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the newest installment to the franchise, will be officially announced with details this coming E3. The confirmation from the developer was announced at the official Twitter account of Assassin’s Creed.
The announcement by Ubisoft came after many details about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey were leaked online. Some sources alleged that the game will take place in ancient Greece, which seems to be true given the brief teaser Ubisoft released today. Moreover, the game will reportedly include new mechanics, which will add dialogue options. Sources also claim that players will now be able to select a male or female playable character.
The teaser for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gave what seems to look like a Spartan soldier hitting an enemy off a cliff that paid homage to the legendary scene in Zack Snyder’s film, 300. Also, the logo of the game shows what looks like a Corinthian helmet, which of course is the headgear worn by Greek Soldiers during that time.
The short teaser seems to confirm the rumors that have long been reporting. However, Ubisoft still has a few details to reveal this coming E3, which will take place on June 11, 2018.
