Capcom Released DEVIL MAY CRY 5 Announcement Trailer And a Release Date
Capcom developer announced the new upcoming game during Microsoft’s E3 press conference with an announcement trailer.
The developer claims the new game will be a direct sequel to the previous title in the franchise, Devil May Cry 4, which was released almost 10 years ago back in 2008. The upcoming new game in the franchise will see the return of Nero, who has lost his arm from a previous incident, which was the cause of most of his abilities. Now, Nero sports a new metal arm that is designed by Nico to “kick demon ass.”
The new Devil May Cry game will have Hideaki Itsuno as the game’s director. The announcement trailer revealed plenty of beasty battles as Nero traverses the streets using some of the series’ famous weapons together with new devices such as a grappling hook fist. Of course, the trailer finished up with the hero, Dante, sporting a short beard and on a motorcycle. This scene just shows that the game will be set in the canon Devil May Cry storyline.
Devil May Cry 5 is scheduled for a release on Spring of 2019 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
