COMMAND & CONQUER: REMASTERED First Piece Of Art is Revealed

By  |

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Alert was announced back in November! The news was met with cool positivity from the fans of these classic games and there may have been some squealing from this writer!

Both remasters are being worked on by Petroglyph Studios which has many members of the original team that made both of these awesome games. To further guarantee authenticity Frank Klepacki even brought back to work all of the updating on the games audio. After nearly 5 months the team has chosen to share the first piece of artwork coming out of the remaster, The updated Construction Yard and it looks super awesome! Can’t wait to play.

“…our primary goal with the visual approach is to maintain the authenticity of the original in-game asset. It’s worth calling out that if there’s a conflict between the in-game asset, cinematic asset, or UI portrait, we’re always going to side with the in-game asset. That being said, if there are opportunities to pull in details from the cinematic footage to enhance an asset, we’ll do our best to incorporate those details.”

— Jim Vessella

The update looks utterly astonishing and keeps the quality of the original fully intact while adding so much more intensity and detail to it! there is no timetable on when we might finally be getting our hands on the Command & Conquer Remasters and it will release in 2020 to celebrate the franchises 25th anniversary.
