CRYSIS REMASTERED Finally Revealed For Modern Platforms
Crytek accidentally revealed their Crysis Remaster a bit sooner than planned. Yes, a Crysis Remaster is being made how awesome is that! Now a completely new generation can live the experience. The remaster was outed by a listing on the official Crytek site which was then been removed. Of course in this day of connectivity, pictures for the site have been posted everywhere. In reply, Crytek released the official teaser for the game.
According to the information from earlier pictures and the trailer, it looks like the Crysis Remaster will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and even on the Nintendo Switch! A Switch port is surprising for a number of reasons, the least of which is the fact that Crysis tend to melt the GPU’s so it coming to a handheld is mind blowing! Then, of course, it is an EA game and EA has historically shown limited support for the platform. Maybe this is a sign of things to come?
There are reports about the game comes with notes about higher resolution textures, new graphical features, and raytracing support. Crysis was the benchmark of lighting effects back in the day so seeing it get the new and greatest in lighting is going to be gorgeous!
