Bungie recently shared exciting news about Destiny 2‘s upcoming Season of the Deep in their latest ‘This Week at Bungie’ update. With the release date approaching on May 23rd, Bungie has been teasing and revealing details about the upcoming update.

In the new teaser trailer, Deputy Commander Sloane makes a return, hinting at something significant lurking in the mysterious depths. The season will introduce the Last Rite Scout Rifle as a reward for completing specific challenges.

Eververse will also see improvements, with personalized recommendations for players, suggesting items tailored to their preferences. This feature will complement the current highlighting of specific items and bundles on the Eververse Featured page.

Players got a glimpse of the stunning ornaments available during the new season, including an enchanting under-the-sea-themed set. Bungie also reminded players to wrap up their Season Pass progress and prepare their Guardians for the upcoming cutscene.
