Devil May Cry 5 will offer a playable demo of the game at this year’s Gamescom. The game’s director, Hideaki Itsuno, revealed the upcoming demo via Twitter saying that the official preview will be ready for Gamescom 2018.

The upcoming new game in the Devil May Cry series was initially announced during last June’s E3 expo. Capcom revealed at the event that the upcoming game would follow the events of Devil May Cry 4, which was released about ten years ago in 2008.

The feature of Devil May Cry 5 at E3 revealed a few gameplay components that players can look forward to in the game. The trailer revealed the character, Nero, sporting a new cybernetic arm called the Devil Breaker, which as the name implies, a weapon that will have superhuman abilities such as lightning-based attacks among many others.

The demo that will be featured at Gamescom will allow attendees to have a hands-on experience of the upcoming game. Devil May Cry 5 is scheduled to release in Spring of 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, stay tuned for more news about the game soon.
