DRAGON 8 Announcement Trailer

During the RGG 2022 Summit on the 14th of September, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios announced a number of upcoming titles due for release within the next two years. Alongside the immediate is the surprise release of Judgment and Lost Judgment onto the Steam platform, the announcements line up the oncoming Like a Dragon games available in the next two years.

First is the western release of the samurai epic Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which will hit the stores on February the 21st, 2023. Set in the 1860s, it follows a sole samurai on a quest for justice.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches later in 2023. The action-adventure bridges the void between the events of Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life, and the upcoming Like A Dragon 8.

Like A Dragon 8 is scheduled for a release date sometime in 2024, and despite releasing the Yakuza from the title, this turn-based RPG will be the next in the mainline Yakuza series.

All the titles are currently set to be available for older-gen consoles too, with releases scheduled for Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
