Experience Retro Gaming On The Go With The Evercade EXP
With a release window of Winter 2022, pre-orders for the Evercade EXP Limited Edition from Evercade are open now. Only 5,000 units will be produced, and feature a completely black console with an Evercade EXP Limited Edition logo on the bezel. The console marks an evolution of the Evercade EXP console that originally launched in 2020. Retro gaming is in your hands and features a grand library. Players can expect full support for over 300 titles across 30 collections in the Evercade Physical Cartridge library.
Gaming on the go once required an outside light source, but the console packs a high resolution IPS screen, meaning these games can be played with pixel-perfect clarity. You won’t have to try and find a functioning angle to play, and grants the luxury to play however you see fit. The screen can also be used in a vertical orientation, known as TATE — pronounced “tah-tay,” in Japan. Turn the console 90 degrees counter-clockwise to experience games that utilize TATE screens as they were meant to be played.
The console’s control scheme is even designed to be utilized for this, and there will be 15 titles available at launch which take advantage of this capability. This bundle comes with two newly announced cartridge collections, Irem Arcade 1 and Toaplan Arcade 1, featuring games such as R-Type, 10-Yard Fight, and Zero Wing.
