F1 22 Is Getting Full Cross-Play Later This Month
If you’re a fan of F1 racing games, you might be playing F1 22. EA and Codemasters recently revealed the game would get a lot better later this month. Later this month, F1 22 will have fully integrated cross-play! There’s no exact date but the team is running some trials including one from August 12-14 in Social Race and Two-Player Career modes. Once implemented, players across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will be able to play together. Talking about the move, Lee Mather at Codemasters said:
Cross-play brings all our players together and allows them to settle the score of who is the best driver across all platforms. Cross-play also allows us to create better matchmaking opportunities so players can compete against rival racers with similar attributes.
