Far Cry 6 Revealed Giancarlo Esposito’s Evil Villain In Trailer At Gamescom
Far Cry 6 is going to be released in less than two months, and we got a new look at the game during Gamescom 2021’s Opening Night Live event. The presentation comes with the release of the story trailer, giving us more details on the dispute plaguing Yara and the role that brutal dictator Anton Castilla (Giancarlo Espositio) plays in it. The trailer revealed Anton and his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) getting questioned by a news reporter who is cross-examining Anton about his questionable past.
The trailer then skips to a group of revolutionaries who are standing up against Anton and his government, using a mixture of seemingly improvised weaponry. We also hear a special choice line of dialogue from Anton that seems to sum up his ideas. “There are lions. There are lambs. Rule, or be ruled. You are a lion. And we eat the f**king lambs,” Anton says to his son.
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. It highlights the return of a voiced protagonist, Dani Rojas, after playing as an unnamed deputy in Far Cry 5, and the wheel-legged dog Chorizo is the most delightful creature in the game.
