First Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Video, Screenshots and Everything You Missed
Rockstar just revealed the first look at the western Red Dead Redemption II, which will hit stores October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One, and it looks like a charming evolution of the first one but this time you can even brush your horse!
It’s all very beautiful, and it is not just a pretty face it will include some complicated systems — you can talk yourself out of fights rather than just shooting everything—that promise changes over the first game, which was released in 2010. Dead Eye slow-motion shooting is back again and it looks perfect, as is notorious poker. As our guns and horses and, of course, awesome cowboy hats.
Check out the video below and you will be blown away for sure, Rockstar also teases new ways based on animal hunting, horse grooming, and relationships with non-player characters. “Helping the camp with food and supplies will keep morale high while spending time with other gang members can reveal new secrets, fun things to do, and opportunities for mischief.”
Maybe the most interesting new system is conversation choices. While in the first Red Dead your options were limited to “murder” or “kidnap,” in this game, it appears you’ll be able to choose and you have ways to defuse or intensify conflicts you come across.
You can hunt animals as you expected, put their carcasses on your horse or carry on your shoulder, walk or ride them back to town and trade them for money. You can intimidate people, pick fights, and get into far more involved fights than you could in the first Red Dead game.
Rockstar promises that the next video will show some more cool activities, enemy gangs, missions, and more. To be honest, I was not impressed with the trailers but this gameplay video reeled me, It is gorgeous to look at and the dynamics are simply mind-blowing, I am sure it will do wonders on Xbox One X with the 4K screen. I am super excited about the game now. Check out the gameplay video below.
