God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus Mode Coming in 2023

Sony Santa Monica revealed that a New Game Plus mode will be coming to God of War Ragnarok in Spring 2023.

“We know many of you have been asking, so we’re happy to confirm that New Game Plus will be coming to #GodofWarRagnarok in Spring 2023,” Sony Santa Monica’s official Twitter account revealed. “We’ll share more details once we get closer to the release!”

When God of War added a New Game Plus mode a few months after its release in 2018. There, players were able to take over earned equipment and abilities. Players were also able to make new armor sets for Kratos and Atreus, as well as the ability to transform talismans into enchantments. New Game Plus mode also altered the attack patterns for Valkyries and presented Timed Realm Tears.

There are not many details provided about God of War Ragnarok’s New Game Plus mode just yet, it’s likely to be identical to what the first game did, such as carrying over equipment and modifying the Berserkers’ attack patterns as they did for Valkyries.
