Rockstar is gearing up for its next big DLC release for GTA 5, which is reportedly the story mode add-on fans have been wanting to see since it was hinted at by the game studio.

The said DLC is very much talked about in the GTA community and the buzz got bigger when Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno, who are voice actors for the game’s characters Michael and Franklin, recently shared “Straight Outta” posts – the former mentioning Yankton, the latter Grove Street.

According to iDigital Times, there emerged a page that described an alleged DLC called “Grove Street Stories.” The article claimed that it will be released on Sept. 22, which is roughly a month from now. However, it was dismissed by the site as a hoax and the said page has been taken down.

While it seems that the GTA 5 story mode DLC is not in the pipeline, there comes a report from Neuro Gadget, which cites an unnamed site that claims that there are pictures and trademark filings of Rockstar’s next massive DLC that were discarded.

Renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW has shed more light on the forthcoming DLC content as well as the Rockstar Editor, expected to be released as part of the forthcoming title update for GTA 5.

As MrBossFTW notes, we can expect a bunch of patches or bug fixes to be rolled out as part of the next title update for GTA 5, instead of the regular DLC content such as new clothes, cars and mansions.

With the Rockstar Editor being proposed for a summer launch, the next DLC update would come out by the end of August or before 23 September.

Just recently, there were also rumors that a DLC called “Lowlife” is in the works. There’s no news about this add-on at the moment either.
