GTA 5 On PS5 And Xbox Series X|S Delayed To March 2022
Grand Theft Auto V is coming to the PS5, and we are excited to see it on the new-generation hardware. The most successful game in history seems ready to get even bigger, after looking at what was shown as the PlayStation Showcase on Thursday. The game was also delayed to 2022 across PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to give the team more time to fine-tune the game.
The trailer revealed GTA V’s gorgeous environments and high-octane action. It also ensured improved graphics, enhanced gameplay, and “seamless” switching between the 3 main characters. You can check out the video below:
GTA V is now slated to arrive in March 2022 as opposed to November 11, 2021. The game is also coming to Xbox Series X|S, but that version wasn’t talked about at Sony’s briefing.
“While we are extremely excited to be bringing GTAV to the latest generation of consoles, the game requires a few additional months for polishing and fine-tuning,” the studio said. “We look forward to sharing more details about these expanded and enhanced versions soon, including the new standalone version of GTA Online also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in March.”
“Players can expect a range of technical and graphical improvements across the entire experience including performance enhancements for select vehicles in GTA Online, and so much more,” Rockstar said in a blog post.
GTA Online players on PS4 can earn GTA$1,000,000 every month until GTA Online releases for PS5 in March 2022.
Grand Theft Auto V is a behemoth, reaching sales of 150 million units, with GTA Online which is still performing well. The ongoing success of GTA Online might help clarify why we haven’t heard anything about the new GTA 6 yet and when it will be coming out.
