Hogwarts Legacy Xbox Series X|S Performance Modes Revealed

Hogwarts Legacy‘s much-anticipated release date is approaching, at least on current-gen platforms where the game releases first on February 10th, 2023. Developer Portkey Games has dropped a bit of info on the game’s performance options for those platforms.

As per a new support page update, Hogwarts Legacy is set to have at least two performance mode choices on current-gen consoles.

Here is the breakdown:

“The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S console versions of Hogwarts Legacy support multiple graphical modes of play, the most common of which are Fidelity mode which runs at 30 fps, and Performance mode which targets 60 fps.”

The team not yet revealing how Xbox Series S specs will differ from Xbox Series X. There’s a possibility for even more than these two choices as well, given Portkey says these are the “most common” options.

The official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter page shows the PC system requirements for Ultra and 4K Ultra, in addition to the earlier announced minimum and recommended requirements.

The requirements to run Hogwarts Legacy are listed below:

In the additional notes, the developers said traditional hard drives are supported, but solid-state drives are the preferable option to getting the finest experience.

They also said if Hogwarts Legacy is played using the minimum requirements and at low settings, the game will run at 30 frames per second with 720p resolution.
