Inside HTC’s First SteamVR Home Envoirment, Driftwood
Vive’s Creative Labs Have released an awesome new SteamVR Home experience entitled Driftwood, It is created to provide you with your very own personal Vive outpost to the VR world. Driftwood has taken inspiration from the real-life Pacific Northwest, Driftwood takes you to an interactive and social world where you can explore a gorgeous and highly detailed beach scene, spot indigenous flora and fauna. You can also be able to invite friends over to your own social lobby. Drew Bamford, head of Vive Creative Labs explains more :
We’ve merged the remote feel of a private outpost, with a beachfront landscape that is reminiscent of our backyard in the Pacific Northwest. Over time, we’ll evolve Driftwood to add new elements including quests, mini-games and other unlockables and collectibles from Vive Creative Labs to share with friends.
