John Cena Announced as Playable Golfer in PGA Tour 2K23

John Cena, the former WWE superstar and actor, is making a name for himself in the world of sports video games. After featuring in the popular wrestling game WWE 2K23, Cena will now be a part of another 2K sports game – PGA Tour 2K23, where he will be available as a free downloadable character from April 7.

Interestingly, Cena is not the only non-traditional golfer in the game, as basketball legends Michael Jordan and Steph Curry are also playable characters. The wrestler and actor’s character is clad in red, white, and blue, fittingly representing the colors of the American flag.

Furthermore, the game will offer more exciting content in the form of upcoming DLCs, including playable golfers like Nelly Korda and the Barstool Sports Fore Play Podcast crew, new courses such as the Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pinehurst No. 2, and Eastside Golf gear.

For those who have yet to try out the game, PGA Tour 2K23 will be having a few free trials. PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers can already play a free trial of the game, but Xbox users can also get a temporary free trial from April 6 to April 9, while the Steam free trial will run from April 6 to April 10.
