Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope’s Rayman DLC Coming This Month
The return of Rayman in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope marks an exciting moment for fans of the iconic mascot. While the Raving Rabbids had taken the spotlight in recent years, the new DLC pack brings Rayman back to the forefront alongside Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach.
Launching on August 30, the “Rayman in the Phantom Show” DLC is the third major expansion for Sparks of Hope. The storyline takes place at the Space Opera Network, an intriguing television studio filled with props and easter eggs. The Phantom, once a villain in 2017’s Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, now assumes the role of a TV director. With the studio’s ratings plummeting, he seeks to revive its former glory by enlisting the help of old stars like Rayman.
Rayman’s abilities draw from his extensive history, including the haircopter ability and the plunger blaster, adding a touch of nostalgia for long-time fans. Moreover, the DLC brings back the original voice actor, David Gasman, to portray Rayman, and the soundtrack features the talents of Christophe Heral and Grant Kirkhope.
While the DLC pack can be purchased separately for $14.99, it is also included in Sparks of Hope’s Season Pass and Gold Edition, providing additional content and value for players. Although Ubisoft may have wished to wait for Nintendo’s next-gen console for the release, Sparks of Hope has received acclaim as an exceptional sequel, building upon the solid foundation of Kingdom Battle’s tactical combat mechanics and taking it to new heights.
With Rayman’s return and the captivating gameplay of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, fans have even more reasons to dive into the zany and strategic world of this unique crossover adventure.
