Henrik revealed a side view of the car which showed the vehicle’s distinctive butterfly doors. Fisker boasts his car’s interior to be larger than its closest competitors while utilizing technology-focused user experience. The frame is designed to be manufactured using a combination of carbon fibre and aluminium.

It is scheduled to hit the markets in the latter half of 2017, and will be manufactured by Fisker’s new company, Fisker Inc, although the self-driving technology provider is yet to be decided.

Car’s price is bid to be close to a high-end Tesla Model S, but Fisker has already expressed his desire to use a consumer-friendly electric car which is more affordable than competitors like the Chevy Bolt or the Tesla Model 3.

The upcoming model is even more highly anticipated as it is being released after the ill-fated and now discontinued Fisker Karma, which failed due to a plethora of battery issues causing the Fisker Automotive to go broke.
