Konami just revealed that they will be releasing co-op missions in Metal Gear Survive and it will be released in March. In addition, daily and weekly missions are already live and available to the players, I didn’t play the game still but I am hearing mixed reviews about the game If you have played it do tell me in the comments how you like the game.

The new co-op DLC will have the Rescue Missions, in it, players will have to team up to rescue NPC soldiers from bad situations. This awesome new DLC to the somewhat recent game is due for release sometime in March. Here is the description of the new DLC:

“Cooperate and coordinate with your squad to go rescue soldiers seeking for help. Compared to Salvage Missions, those missions will require a whole new level of cooperation and team spirit.”

The daily and weekly missions will give more rewards and add special battle situations to give players a different gameplay action that will let them use different tactics. Hopefully, more post-release game content will be added to Metal Gear Survive soon.

I am hoping Konami would come to their senses and remove the game’s excessive micro-transactions. Metal Gear Survive faced backlash a few days ago from game fans when it was shown that creating an additional save file, which has been free in every game since the start of video games, will now cost players a fee of $10. Some sharp players have also found some information hidden by the game’s developers explaining tensions behind the scenes as the messages seemed to call out the game’s director and producer, and celebrated the former developer and series creator of Metal Gear, legendary Hideo Kojima.
