Microsoft’s E3 2014 Xbox presentation will primarily focus on games, with “very few” executives on stage, according to Phil Spencer.

When a fan asked on twitter, “if this year’s E3 conference will be as game focused as last year’s?”, To that Microsoft Studios corporate vice president, Phil Spencer replied, “Yes, I think you’ll see very few execs.”

He further added, “We are already over our 90 minute time limit and having to move stuff out of show.”

Microsoft unveiled the next generation version of Microsoft’s DirectX API, DirectX12 this week at GDC show in San Francisco.

“DirectX 12 will work in some form across all Microsoft platforms; A position in line with the corporation’s ethos of uniting tablets, computers and games consoles with the same operating systems,” said development manager, Anuj Gosalia.

E3 2014 is slated for June 10–12, 2014, and will once again take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
