Mortal Kombat XL Release Date Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced Mortal Kombat XL, the definitive experience of the award-winning, hit Mortal Kombat X video game, Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat XL will be available in North America beginning March 1 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Mortal Kombat X is NetherRealm Studios’ most recent game in its legendary, critically acclaimed franchise that drives the iconic franchise into a new generation. The game mixes cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the cruelest Kombat experience ever, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple varieties of each character changing both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game’s most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero while offering new challengers that represent the powers of good and evil and tie the story together.
