New ANTHEM Footage Reveals The Game’s Single-Player Story
The brand new trailer for the upcoming title, Anthem just dropped, by BioWare gives players a preview of the single-player campaign. The footage showed Fort Tarsis, which is the primary home base where players return after setting out on a mission.
Anthem is set to be a huge departure from BioWare’s Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises. In the new game, players won’t have the regular companions by their side as they will start on missions alone. The latest preview gives a look at the game’s NPCs that players will face and reveals how communicating with them will affect how they treat players in the long run.
BioWare also shares the news that they are hoping to create a “living community” in Fort Tarsis where players can grow their relationships with other characters. However, it was earlier announced that unlike Mass Effect and Dragon Age, Anthem will not star any romance conquests as BioWare wanted to focus on friendships preferably, which they felt is more natural for the game.
Anthem is set to release on February 22 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
