New GHOSTBUSTERS VR Game Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord Revealed

Ghostbusters is a famous franchise with a cult following and it never seems to dip in popularity. You still see children dressed up as famous ghost hunters on Halloween. Well, now you can become a Ghostbuster when the new VR game comes on Meta Quest 2 and PlayStation VR2. After being announced at the Meta Quest showcase in April 2022, the name has finally been revealed, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord. We don’t have an exact release date except to expect in 2023 but the game sounds amazing and it will be a lot of fun.

You’ll get to run your own ghost-busting headquarters out of San Francisco. Famous locations in the city will be featured such as the Golden Gate Bridge which should be really fun in VR. You can play the campaign solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op to stop the mighty Ghost Lord. You’ll be able to wield and update iconic Ghostbusters equipment and customize elements of your characters’ look.
