New OWL Nanoscopic 3D Printers
Old World Labs (OWL) has unveiled a new range of Nanoscopic 3D printers in the form of the MC-1 and MC-2. The latest OWL Nanoscopic 3D printers are available via an innovative subscription service that provides customers with the ability to upgrade their 3D printers as the 3D printing technology advances.
Being provided using a subscription service makes the OWL MC-1 the first 3D printer to be available via such a scheme and helps its owners keep up with the changes in technology.
Features of the MC-1 include mechanical capability for 100nm precision, with +/- 500 nm accuracy using a build volume that measures 6 x 6 x 6 inches in size. While the OWL MC-2 offers a 100 nm resolution with +/- 50 nm accuracy and the same build volume. Nick Liverman, CEO and Founder of Old World Labs explains :
“The benefits of 3D printing to science, medical research and academic discovery are evolving, and the people who are making the utmost progress and greatest discoveries need the most precise and accurate printers available,”
“The MC Series fit this description. No other 3D printer can match them for resolution, precision and functionality. Our printers,” – “are not like anything else on the market. They are more accurate and capable of handling printing the minute details that makes the difference to people trying to change the world.”
