Need For Speed Unbound

Need For Speed Unbound, the latest entry in the racing game series from EA and Criterion Games, has been out for only a few months, and it’s already receiving a fresh batch of updates and content. The first post-launch update, called Volume 2, brings a range of new features to the game, including new ways to compare and compete with the squad in Lakeshore Online.

One of the key additions in this update is the introduction of new upgrades, events, and Daily Challenges. Players can now earn XP, Bank, and new rides, including “The Ultimate Luxury,” as they complete these challenges. In addition, players can access new features and rewards, including new rides, cosmetics, and more.

There are also fresh ways to compete on Lakeshore’s streets with daily challenges, a variety of new playlists and events, and the new Keys to the Map DLC. Players can now compete in 40 new challenges, including three new daily challenges, to earn rewards like XP and Bank. They can also take on new Hot Laps circuits for an intense 30-second rush, racing against the clock to earn new reward content. New Playlist Events inject even more variety into the mix, with completion of playlists earning big rewards like a Rare Custom Lotus Emira Balmain Edition.

Players can show off their style on the streets of Lakeshore with new driving effects, poses, stickers, and more. They can also purchase the Keys to the Map DLC for $4.99, which reveals the map location of all 260 collectibles, including 100 Bears, 80 Street Art, and 80 Billboards, as well as 160 activities. The DLC also comes with an exclusive “Fury and Zen” clothing pack, which includes a jacket, T-shirt, sweatpants, and cap.

With the new update, players can enjoy a plethora of additional content, including Endurance Events and brand-new Rumble Races. They can provoke cops into thrilling high-speed multiplayer chases with the help of friends or play against them to earn the biggest rewards. The update also includes cops roaming the streets in multiplayer, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.

Need For Speed Unbound – Volume 2 is set to launch on March 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin, and the EA app. Overall, the update promises to bring new life to the game, giving players even more reasons to hit the streets of Lakeshore and show off their driving skills.
