NO LONGER HOME Gameplay Trailer Released
Fellow Traveller and Humble Grove’s new game, No Longer Home will be released in less than a week! It will be released on PC, July 30th, No Longer Home tells a tale of non-binary friends as they near one of the most important times in their lives. This is actually a semi-autobiographical story that is about the two of the game’s non-binary developers and what they had to survive following their graduation from college.
Gameplay-wise, you’ll play as the main characters, Ao and Bo’s apartment, talk with friends, and interact with Lu a multi-eyed animal-like creature. It’s all about the connections of these friends and understanding what they’re going through with these big life-changing moments.
“Precarity and identity are the predominant themes throughout the story. The events in the game are based on our own experiences, during a time when we were feeling disillusioned with post-uni life and trying to figure out what to do next,” says Cel Davison (they/them), Lead Writer & Cinematographer. “No Longer Home is about exploring our place in the world and finding wonder in everyday domesticity.”
The No Longer Home soundtrack created by IGF-nominated sound artist and composer Eli Rainsberry (they/them) of A Monster’s Expedition, Bird Alone, Wilmot’s Warehouse, with contributions from session musician Derek Daley (he/him), and the prequel Friary Road’s soundtrack will be available for $9.99 and $4.99.
There’s also the Farewell Edition bundle which comes with the base game and both soundtracks. The game’s prequel, Friar Road will also be included with No Longer Home.
No Longer Home will be released for PC on Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble, and GOG on July 30th. The game will also be on sale with a 20% discount through its first week!
