Nvidia Revealed RTX 4070 Ti Desktop Graphics Card
Nvidia revealed its RTX 40 series is gaining a new GPU in the form of the RTX 4070 Ti.
Using Nvidia’s new Ada Lovelace architecture, the RTX 4070 Ti is created to succeed the RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards with enhanced performance and support for DLSS 3. Nvidia claims the RTX 4070 Ti will perform up to three times that of the earlier RTX 30 flagship, the RTX 3090 Ti.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is the fourth card to be announced for the RTX 40 series following the announcement of the RTX 4090 and two versions of the RTX 4080 — one with 16GB of memory and the other with 12GB of memory. In the latter’s case, Nvidia would “unlaunch” the GPU ahead of its November 16 release date. The RTX 40 series has also been the center of attention as the current flagship GPU, the RTX 4090, due to a controversial connector cable that has melted for some users.
The RTX 4070 Ti will retail for $799. Nvidia is scheduling to release the RTX 4070 Ti on January 5.
