NVIDIA Shows Off New RTX 30 Series GPUs and Raytracing in FORTNITE
There are a lot of news recently came out from NVIDIA. First, the company released its new GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs which will give “up to 2x the performance and 1.9x the power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation.” This will give for enhanced AI gaming and real-time ray tracing to help games look awesome.
In addition, the new NVIDIA Reflex tool is all about reducing latency to help gamers be more real and win more. NVIDIA Broadcast is intended to help streamers increase their streams with “RTX-accelerated AI effects, such as audio noise removal, virtual background effects, and webcam auto frame.” A third technology shown was NVIDIA Omniverse Machinima which is intended to help creators who make Machinama content have an easier time producing more amazing content.
Also, it was announced that Fortnite is also getting real-time ray tracing with the release of Season 4. This is sure to make one of the most famous and hit games out there even more popular and powerful. Fans will be able to have fun with ray-traced reflections, shadows, global illumination, and ambient occlusion as well as increased frame rates and graphics with NVIDIA DLSS AI tech.
The RTX 3070 will be available in October and start at $499, the 3080 will be available on September 17 starting at $699, and the 3090 will be available on September 24 starting at $1499. And for a very limited time, anyone who buys one of the cards will get a PC code for Watch Dogs: Legion and a free 1-year subscription to NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.
