PlayerUnknown’s New Title Gets a Gorgeous Rainy Teaser Trailer
PlayerUnknown’s new upcoming game just got its first teaser trailer at The Game Awards and it looks beautiful, but besides that, there’s almost nothing to it. The 30-second teaser just describes a first-person controlled character looking around a rainy jungle. There are some heavy breathing and fast glances in every direction. This looks scary indeed.
But the jungle looks brilliant, and that might be the whole point. The official website says as much: “Prologue is an exploration of new technologies and gameplay. Our aim with this game is to give players unique and memorable experiences, each and every time they play.”
Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene left his creative role in PUBG in March of this year to seek a new role within PUBG Corp. He’s essentially going to take on the role of a crazy scientist, pursuing new techs, pipelines, tools and gameplay, all while traveling the “interaction and connection within the game space”.
The prologue is the first product of that change and you will find more in 2020.
