PS Plus Premium Subscribers Have 18 New Games to Play Right Now
In June 2023, Sony introduced some exciting additions to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions, offering subscribers a wealth of new games to enjoy. Among the noteworthy games released were Far Cry 6, Rogue Legacy 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Killzone: Liberation, and Worms. This move was part of Sony’s regular practice of refreshing the catalog of titles available to their premium subscribers each month.
Moving on to July 2023, Sony continued to please its PS Plus Premium members by updating their game catalog with an additional 18 titles. This included games like Snowrunner, Undertale, Circus Electrique, Dysmantle, It Takes Two, My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Monster Jam: Steel Titans, Samurai Warriors 5, Sniper Elite 5, Dynasty Warriors 9, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, The Ascent, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers – Rise of Shifter, and World War Z. Furthermore, PS Plus Premium users also gained access to Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, and Twisted Metal 2.

Among these games, It Takes Two stood out as it had garnered multiple awards since its release. Undertale was also highly acclaimed, boasting an impressive rating of 92 on Metacritic. While most of the lineup received positive reviews upon their release, Monster Jam: Steel Titans was an exception, having a relatively low score of 53 on Metacritic.
For PS Plus Premium members, Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, and Twisted Metal 2 came with trophy support, providing an added incentive for players to aim for the Platinum trophy in these classic titles.
However, with the addition of 18 new games, 10 others were removed from the service in July 2023. Games like Stray, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, Marvel’s Avengers, and the remasters of the BioShock games were no longer available to PS Plus Premium subscribers. Unlike the free monthly games offered to all PS Plus members, once titles are removed from the Extra and Premium tiers, gamers lose access to them.
This ongoing cycle of fresh game offerings and changes to the catalog serves to keep PlayStation Plus subscribers engaged and entertained, providing them with a diverse range of gaming experiences each month.
