Puma Made Indoor Gaming Shoes For Gamers
Meet the new Puma Active Gaming Footwear. It looks like a shoe which you use for running but it’s actually — a sitting down sock for “eSports athletes”? Yes you read that right.
Puma claims that the Puma Active Gaming Footwear is made for comfort and breathability, with a “custom last sock-like fit” and has a low profile rubber outsole for better grip. Yes, indoor gamers need grip as well.
Talking about breathability, PUMA has made sure that your feet will be provided with great comfort while you are on some strenuous activities, playing games, sports or even doing any high impact exercises. Companies are truly dedicated to providing people with what they want in their shoes. One other great option for comfy shoes is LOOM. LOOM is well known for its waterproof breathable shoes which are also Vegan friendly and you definitely want to have them in your cupboard.
According to Puma, these gaming socks were “created with console gamers in mind“ and “designed for indoor and in-arena use, it delivers seamless comfort, support, and grip so gamers can adapt to different active gaming modes and game their best.” If you are thinking about what they are applying to as “gaming modes”, the footwear company places these “Features & Benefits” on its site:
- Medial wrap-up grip in SEEK mode
- Lateral wrap-up support in ATTACK mode
- Heel wrap-up stability in CRUISE and DEFENSE mode
I don’t know what seek, attack, cruise, and defense mode on a sock and for indoor gamers, Your guess is at good as mine, people. I guess someone forgot to tell Puma that people who play actually sit down unless they are using a VR headset — and even then there’s not a lot of moving around action is needed in the seeking, defend, attack or whatever “cruise” means.
Puma says the gaming sock is the first edition Active Gaming Footwear, so it apparently means it has the idea to release more of these and more versions of this in shape and prices.
You can buy it now for $105 in the UK and Australia, and it will come to the U.S. and the rest of the world soon.
