Rage 2 Will Get Two Paid DLC After Release
Rage 2 is a single-player game, but it doesn’t mean that the gameplay will be static. Avalanche and Bethesda have now revealed a 2019 roadmap for the open-world game, and it’s obvious that the developers are sort of treating it as if it were an always-evolving multiplayer game. At least two paid DLC will be launched after the game is released.
One will be released in August and it will be called “Rise of the Ghosts”, and the other one is coming out in November. We don’t have a lot of details about the plot of the game, but they say we can look forward to new stories, areas, and gear for both add-ons.
And you don’t have to pay extra to get something in the game. Weapon skins, world events, challenges, and new rides are all scheduled to be available throughout 2019. At least you’ll have a reason to keep playing after the main story. But will Rage 2 get more once 2020 rolls around? While it’s nothing new for single-player games to get expansions, they rarely have roadmaps with month-by-month commitments. I guess it will all depend on demand.
