Red Dead Redemption 2’s First 4K PC Trailer Shows The Gorgeous Country Side
Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC. But how it will look on PC? Rockstar has answered that question by releasing a minute-long montage—available in 4K, at 60fps—of stunning countryside set to hero Arthur Morgan’s gruff, distributed musings about freedom and civilization and all the cowboy stuff.
This is a reflective slice of the flora and fauna you’ll run into as you travel Red Dead Redemption 2’s huge open world, from the snowy mountains of the West Grizzlies and the plains of the Heartlands and to the swamps of Lemoyne county and the seedy bustle of Saint-Denis.
The game has been improved for the PC, not just with additional singleplayer stuff, but also a set of graphical enhancements, which includes:
- Increased draw distance
- “Higher quality” global illumination and ambient occlusion
- “Improved” snow trails
- “Improved” reflections and higher resolution shadows
- Tessellated tree textures
- “Improved” grass and fur textures
- HDR support
- Unlocked resolution (4K and higher)
- Ultrawide aspect ratio and multi-monitor support
- Unlocked framerate
The system requirements are not that demanding—as long as you’ve got the space of 150GB for RDR 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will come on PC on November 5 on both the Rockstar Game Launcher and Epic Games Store.
