Mad Chainsaw Mode is a special difficulty level in the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Demo, which provides players with an extra challenge by equipping the infamous Dr. Salvador with a flaming chainsaw. This mode can be activated at the Main Menu by entering the specific cheat code. Once activated, players will face an increased level of difficulty, making it harder to progress through the game.
However, if you’re unable to enter the cheat code, there is an alternate unlock method that you can try. Simply keep going in and out of the New Game menu, and eventually, the Mad Chainsaw Mode will unlock at random. It usually takes around three tries to unlock the mode through this method.
It’s worth noting that Mad Chainsaw Mode is specific to the demo version of Resident Evil 4 Remake and is not included in the final game. If you’re a fan of the franchise, this mode can provide an exciting challenge for you to conquer, but be prepared to face tough obstacles and enemies as you fight your way through the game.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Secret TMP Area
If you’re playing Resident Evil 4 and want to get your hands on the TMP (Tactical Machine Pistol), you’ll want to discard everything in your inventory before Leon opens and enters the village gate. This gate can be found after Leon jumps out the window, and you can run straight for the village from there.
Once you’re inside the village, it’s important to keep running straight ahead while avoiding the enemies. If you’re successful, you’ll be able to find a secret area located below the village that contains the coveted TMP. Normally, the well leading to this area is blocked off, but now that you’ve made it to the village gate, you’ll be able to enter the well and at the bottom, follow the tunnel to find a crate with the TMP. Be sure to smash the barrels down there for extra submachine gun ammo as well.
It’s worth noting that once you obtain the TMP, you’ll be able to keep it in your inventory in any future playthroughs. So take advantage of this opportunity to get your hands on this powerful weapon, and don’t forget to stock up on ammo while you’re down in that secret area!

Resident Evil 4 Remake Tips and Tricks
Additionally, it’s important to manage your inventory wisely in Resident Evil 4. You’ll need to balance the amount of ammunition, healing items, and other items you carry with you, as well as the available space in your inventory. You can increase your inventory space by purchasing upgrades from the merchant or finding special items in the game.
Speaking of the merchant, make sure to visit him frequently to buy and sell items, as well as upgrade your weapons. Upgraded weapons can deal more damage and have other advantages, such as increased accuracy or faster firing rate.
When exploring the game’s environments, be sure to check every corner and examine every object, as you may find hidden items or clues that can help you progress through the game. This is especially important when searching for the game’s various treasures, which can be sold to the merchant for a high price.
Another useful tip is to pay attention to the game’s sound design, as it can give you clues as to the location of enemies or other important objects. You can also use sound to distract enemies, such as throwing a bottle to lure them away from your path.
Finally, don’t forget to save your game frequently. Resident Evil 4 can be a challenging game, and you don’t want to lose your progress due to an unexpected death or game crash. You can save your game at the typewriters found throughout the game’s environments, but you’ll need to use ink ribbons to do so. Make sure to stock up on ink ribbons whenever possible.
