The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to come with a range of new hardware over the current model and now it looks like that the new Note 6 will come with an Iris Scanner.
Iris scanning technology being integrated into Samsung’s smartphones and the new Note 6 could be the first device to get the technology.
Samsung has filed for two trademarks in Europe, one is ‘Samsung Iris’ the other is ‘Samsung Eyeprint’, which suggests that Samsung is getting ready to introduce Iris recognition technology in one of its devices and the new Note 6 is the most likely candidate for the technology.
The handset is rumored to get a number of other upgrades, which will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor and 6GB of RAM, storage is rumored to go all the way up to 256GB built in.
The device will feature the same cameras as the S7, this will include a 5 megapixel front camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera. The display on the device is said to measure 5.8 inches and will come with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
There will apparently be three models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, two models will have very similar specifications, the Note 6 and Note 6 Edge, the third model is apparently called the Note 6 Lite.
The Note 6 Lite is rumored to feature a Full HD display and come with 4GB of RAM, the remaining specifications will be the same as the other models in the range. Samsung are expected to start selling their new Note smartphones in August.
