Scream’s Ghostface Is joining Call Of Duty Season 6’s Haunting Event
Call of Duty Season 6 will be released on October 7 for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, but some gamers who pre-downloaded and installed the update of the game are already seeing Ghostface, the notorious masked character from Wes Craven’s Scream franchise. The character skin is looking as a locked option in the Operators menu under the Warsaw faction.
The Call of Duty Twitter account has since made it official that Ghostface will come on October 19, which is also the date of Call of Duty’s Haunting event for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This will be Warzone’s second Halloween-themed event, as last year’s scary season was celebrated with the Haunting of Verdansk limited-time event. The Haunting of Verdansk brought famous horror-themed operator skins with Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Billy the Puppet from Saw.

This Ghostface reveal now made it official for previous leaks of new horror-themed skins that would be coming to Call of Duty in Season 6. The leaks hinted that Ghostface would be coming along with the spooky bunny mask from Donnie Darko. While Ghostface is now confirmed, it’s very likely players might also see the Donnie Darko-themed skin for the Haunting event as well.
Activision and Raven Software didn’t reveal much on the upcoming seasonal event but recently published more Haunting event information would be revealed on October 18.
