Sega ENDLESS DUNGEON Delayed Til Later This Year
SEGA and Amplitude Studios have recently announced that the release date for their upcoming game, ENDLESS DUNGEON, has been pushed back to October 19th. This delay comes after the developers received player feedback from various closed beta tests, which has prompted them to work on improving balance, meta-progression, onboarding, and general polishing.
The developers have stated that they are working hard to implement the community’s feedback into the final build of the game. As a result of this delay, early access to the game will be available on October 17th for players who pre-order the Digital Edition of ENDLESS DUNGEON. This marks a delay of 5 months from the original launch date, which was set for May 18th.
However, the good news is that the developers are committed to delivering a fantastic gaming experience on day one, rather than relying on incremental post-launch patches. This is a welcome approach, as it ensures that players will have a fully polished and optimized game to enjoy from the moment they start playing.
For those who are unfamiliar, ENDLESS DUNGEON is set in the ENDLESS universe and offers a unique combination of rogue-lite, tactical action, and tower defense gameplay. Players will be able to choose from various heroes, each with their own unique abilities and skills that cater to different playstyles.
ENDLESS DUNGEON is set to launch on October 19th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The launch date for Nintendo Switch will be revealed at a later date. Overall, this delay is a promising sign that the developers are committed to delivering a high-quality gaming experience that meets the expectations of both new and existing fans of the ENDLESS series.
