Sony Revealed It’s First Electric Car Called The Vision-S
Sony revealed the concept electric car which is called the Vision-S during CES 2020. The S stands for Sony and before the Sony fans get too hyped up for it, it’s unlikely this car will never become available for you to buy.
It’s meant as a showcase of Sony’s different technologies and parts. Most notably, Sony is one of the world’s major producers of image sensors for the photography market, many of which can be applied in cars.
The Vision-S comes with 33 sensors and features an ultra-widescreen display for its dashboard. It also features 360° audio and wireless connectivity.
During the car’s reveal, Sony CEO said:
This prototype embodies our contribution to the future of mobility.
He also said that the car was produced with the help of partners including Magna Steyr, Bosch, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, ZF, Blackberry, and more.
