Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Announced, Trailer and Release Date Revealed
Check out the first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor premiered as part of Star Wars Celebration. The sequel to Respawn’s critically-acclaimed Star Wars game will be released in 2023.
In a cinematic trailer, we see Cal Kestis after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Where he is still on the run from the Empire.
Cal who spent the last game gaining a family of allies is all alone. And his lightsaber which he spent so much time rebuilding appears to fall into the hands of the Empire.
Respawn’s next Star Wars action RPG will be released on next-gen platforms PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. EA doesn’t make mention of past-gen consoles, but with developers going towards new-gen systems there’s a good possibility Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is too.
The trailer premiered during Star Wars Celebration. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the best-reviewed games when it was released, and a big coup for Respawn who were mostly known for their online multiplayer games like Apex Legends. By mixing Star Wars with a deep single-player story campaign and Souls-like action RPG mechanics, Respawn brought Star Wars into the modern age.
