Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Has a Huge File Size on PC

EA has recently revealed the PC system requirements for the highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Survivor video game, and it comes with a colossal file size. Players who are looking forward to joining Cal Kestis and the Mantis crew on their next adventure will need to clear some hard drive space to accommodate the whopping 155 GB file size. This puts Jedi: Survivor on par with other popular games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, which also demands 150 GB of available space for its vast open world and an incredible level of detail.

Compared to its predecessor, Jedi: Fallen Order, the file size for Jedi: Survivor is significantly larger, with Fallen Order requiring only 55 GB, a whole 100 GB less than the sequel. However, fans of the franchise can expect a much more immersive and expanded game world, with much bigger environments that can be explored on rideable mounts or via fast travel.

Apart from the colossal file size, EA has also shared the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. Players will require at least 8 GB of RAM with a CPU equivalent to a Ryzen 5 1400 and a GPU equivalent to a Radeon RX 580 to run the game. The recommended specs include 16 GB of RAM, a Ryzen 5 5600X equivalent CPU, and an RX 6700 XT equivalent GPU.

As for the game itself, fans can expect to explore a ton of optional areas, which the developer, Respawn Entertainment, has expanded greatly for its sequel. According to previews, Jedi: Survivor feels grander without ever letting the burgeoning scope compromise the exploration and sense of discovery that serves as its heart.

In conclusion, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to be a visually stunning and immersive game that requires a significant amount of hard drive space and high-end hardware to run at optimal performance. Nonetheless, fans of the franchise will be delighted to explore the vast open world and engage in exciting adventures with Cal Kestis and the Mantis crew. Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to launch on April 28, and fans cannot wait to dive into this epic adventure.
