STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC Legacy Of The Sith Expansion is Out Now

Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) is known for its unique action-packed CG trailers and in-game cinematics for the last 10 years, and the Legacy of the Sith expansion resumes the trend. SWTOR is a hugely multiplayer online role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts.

The Legacy of the Sith expansion comes with it many changes, such as a new loadout interface that lets you create presets for your gear, weapons, appearance, abilities, and quick bars to effortlessly switch between various playstyles for different conditions. A new level cap from 75 to 80, inventory enhanced, as well as fighting styles, giving players more choices to personalize their characters by choosing a fighting style separate from their Origin Story.

The story of Legacy of the Sith builds upon Star Wars: The Old Republic’s dynamic plot and ongoing war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Players will adventure to the ocean planet of Manaan on a campaign to find the insidious plans of Darth Malgus – the game’s antagonist whose plans could spell destruction for both the Jedi and the Sith. Legacy of the Sith brings with it new cooperative missions as well, which comes with a 4-player Flashpoint set in a ruined Sith Fortress on the remote planet Elom.

SWTOR is free to play but it does have a paid subscription service, which you’ll need to play the expansion and all prior expansions. You can get it for CAD$14.99 per month. The Legacy of the Sith expansion was released yesterday, February 15, so you can hop right into the action on PC via Steam or their own website.
