STREETS OF RAGE 4 Multiplayer Action Revealed In New Trailer
If you like classic style Streets of Rage series which will come with multiple characters to choose from, the multiplayer always maxed at two players. Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games have chosen to change this for the next chapter in this series revival game Streets of Rage 4. In the gameplay you will see the strongman, Floyd Iraia, ends with a flash into the four-player multiplayer action.
From the newest logo screenshot, it looks like we will have five separate characters to choose from as well. This number of characters with the number of players that can play at once is a good mix so that nobody feels that they “have” to use anyone character or other thanks to more options being accessible to you. The four-player multiplayer is local only and the online multiplayer will still be maxed out at two-player. This seems like a limitation which is not needed for online players, but at least we are getting options to play with friends both near and far.
It’s nice to see the original gameplay is kept to the classic style with a few suggestions to update and modernize it. Mixing that with the updated graphics to make the characters and backgrounds look well adjusted without the pixelization and my hype for this game is rushing back! There still is no release date revealed yet, it will be coming out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the behind the scenes video below to know more about the game.
