Super Cool Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Which is Also a Urban Ski Slope
Amager Bakke, a modern waste-to-energy power plant in Copenhagen was made to run green. That alone would have been enough, yet the designers at Bjarke Ingels Group chose to put the plant’s very unique shape to use in a way that would serve the community as well. They created an urban ski slope now known as Copenhill along with a mixture of other outdoor sports and activities.
CopenHill is Copenhagen’s epicenter for urban mountain sports. We offer a number of outdoor activities in the middle of Copenhagen. Here, the whole family can be active together on skis, in your running shoes, hiking boots or on the climbing wall.
