The Withings Aura is a smart alarm clock that monitors your sleep environment and adjusts it to provide an optimal space for you to rest. This includes noise pollution, room temperature and the light level. It uses specific shades of light and soothing frequencies that match your body’s circadian rhythms to ensure you wake up at the correct time and in the correct way. The Aura contains a sensor placed under your mattress to monitor sleep patterns, breathing, heartrate and the movements of your body. This data is collected and displayed visually on an accompanying app and can be used to analyze your sleep patterns for better sleep in the future.

Sleep Cycle App

The Sleep Cycle alarm clock is an app that can be installed on both Android and iPhone devices. If using an iPhone, you can simply place your phone on your bed stand and its accelerometer and microphone will monitor your sleep movements. For an Android device, you have to place it on your bed. The app tracks your movements while you sleep and recognizes the optimal time at which you should wake to feel the most refreshed and rested, at which point it will wake you up during your lightest sleeping phase.
