The Ataribox was originally revealed at E3 2017, which was very exciting news to fans from the classic days of gaming. The interest quickly exploded following the announcement and talk of rumors, concepts, and hopes that began to grow like a weed.
The latest update for the Ataribox let us know that not only is the name changed to Atari VCS, but it isn’t going to be a new console to battle against PlayStation and Xbox. In fact, the Atari VCS may very well have taken a path that meets modern and veteran players’ interest in a multi-use device.
The Atari VCS is going to be a system that can connect online for the purpose of streaming. It will be focused on giving people easy access to Netflix, Hulu, the works. It will also include many games, both classic and new, built into the gaming console for players to relive the nostalgia and memories.
